The Background

Setu Healthcare is a health and wellness portal managed by Dr. Sejal Shah. The website aims at spreading the buzzword Wellness and leadind a healthy life. The site publishes authentic content related to health issues. It also has a directory of health specialists according to their speciality and location. One important feature of the website is its Ask an Expert section wherein the visitors can submit their health issues which are then shared with Setu Healthcare’s panel of expert doctors and the visitor is guided accordingly. The site has a Health Zone which lists the diseases, available therapies and treatment procedures.

Challenge

Sejal Shah selected AmkaysWeb for developing the feature rich website. Her requirements were clear and focus was on look and feel, user experience, and ease of member registration. She wanted a site easy to navigate and each and every section should have the feel of the subject.

Solution

AmkaysWeb was handling such a big portal website for the first time. We suggested Joomla to be the platform for the proposed website. The designers arrived at the concept of colour coding the specific services or sections right at the navigation menu. The development phase included newsletter management, user registration, PayPal integration, directory integration. The site was scanned numerous times for hierarchy, user experience and consistency.
